Why It Matters

A lift kit is more than a stance change.

Done right, it transforms how your truck looks, drives, and what it can do. Done wrong, it eats tires, throws codes, ruins your daily, and voids the warranty on the kit itself. Big Shot Rides has been installing lift kits on F-150s, Silverados, RAMs, Tacomas, Wranglers, Broncos, and full-size SUVs for over a decade out of our Coconut Creek shop.

We carry BDS, Fox, ICON, ReadyLIFT, Rough Country, and other top suspension brands. We install on a proper rack with the right tools and torque specs, and finish every build with a Hunter Hawkeye alignment so the truck drives straight when you pick it up.

Pick the Right Build

Leveling Kit vs. Suspension Lift vs. Body Lift

Leveling kit (1"–2.5"): the cheapest entry point. Lifts the front of the truck to match the rear, so the factory rake disappears and you can fit slightly larger tires. Best for daily drivers and guys who want the look without changing how the truck rides.

Suspension lift (2"–6"): replaces or supplements the factory springs, shocks, control arms, and sometimes differential drop brackets. What you want if you're running 35s, 37s, or larger, doing real off-road work, or building a show truck. Well-designed kits ride better than stock; cheap ones ride like a buckboard.

Body lift: spaces the body up off the frame. Used to clear bigger tires on a budget without changing geometry. Less common now, but still valid in specific builds.

We'll tell you what your truck and budget actually need — not whatever has the highest margin.

Beyond Trucks

Custom Suspension on Anything.

Lifting isn't just for half-tons. We've built G-Wagons, lifted Range Rovers, raised G63 AMGs to clear off-road rubber, and custom-suspended exotic SUVs that the dealer wouldn't touch.

If it has a frame or a unibody, we can spec the right kit, source the right shocks, and dial it in on the rack. Climate-controlled bay, soft tie-downs, white-glove handling — same as the dealership should, just better.

Classic + Modern

From Restomods to Brand-New Builds.

A '72 Bronco on a coilover conversion is a totally different build than a 2026 F-250 on a 6" BDS lift — but we do both. Vintage truck builds, classic Bronco restomods, OBS Chevys, square-body lifts, and Jeep CJ/YJ work all get the same level of attention as the modern stuff.

We don't cut corners on classics. Modern shocks on vintage geometry, modern hardware, modern alignment — but the look and feel of the truck stays true to what it is.

Bundle the Build

One Drop-Off. The Whole Truck.

A lift kit is rarely a one-line build. Most lifted truck owners come back for the matching wheels, tires, alignment, and protection — and we can do all of it in one shop, in the right sequence, so nothing gets damaged or redone.

That black Bronco? Lifted, wrapped, badged, and bumpered here. Sequence matters: lift first, then wheels and tires, then alignment, then bumpers (for clearance), then wrap (panels settle), then PPF on the high-impact zones.

FAQ

Common Questions

How much does a lift kit installation cost?

It depends on the kit, the truck, and any additional work (wheels, tires, alignment, accessories). A 2" leveling kit installed is significantly cheaper than a 6" suspension lift on a heavy-duty truck. Call (954) 531-9965 for a free quote on your specific build.

Do I need an alignment after a lift kit?

Yes — a Hunter Hawkeye alignment is included with every lift kit installation at Big Shot Rides. Lifting a truck changes caster, camber, and toe. Driving on a fresh lift without an alignment will scrub the outer shoulder off a new set of tires within a few thousand miles.

Will a lift kit void my truck's warranty?

A properly installed lift kit does not automatically void your factory warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. The manufacturer can only deny warranty coverage on a component if they can prove the modification directly caused the failure. We register every kit's warranty on your behalf.

How long does a lift kit installation take?

Most lift kit installs take 1 to 2 days, depending on the kit complexity and any associated work like wheels, tires, alignment, or accessories. Drop off in the morning, we'll keep you updated with photos throughout the build.

Do you install kits I bought online?

Yes — we install customer-supplied kits every day. We'll inspect the kit before install to make sure nothing is missing or damaged, and let you know upfront if anything additional is needed (control arms, brake line extensions, drop brackets, etc.).
