Boat Wraps in South Florida.
Custom wraps on center consoles, sport fishers, sport boats, and bay boats. Premium cast vinyl, prepped and sealed to handle salt water, constant UV, and the wet/dry cycle South Florida boats live in.
Gel Coat Fades. A Respray Costs $20K.
South Florida is brutal on a boat’s finish — constant sun, salt, and no garage to hide in. Once the gel coat chalks and fades, your options used to be living with it or paying $15,000–$25,000 for a full Awlgrip respray. A premium cast wrap is the third option: a fresh, custom finish for a fraction of paint, installed in days instead of weeks.
Big Shot Rides wraps boats in the same climate-controlled bay we use for exotics — not on a dock. Whether it’s a full-hull color change, a transom name, or a custom fish print, we use premium cast film and laminate, and pair it with the same prep and install precision we put on a vehicle wrap.
Center Consoles to Sport Fishers.
If it floats and lives in South Florida, we can wrap it:
- Center consoles — Boston Whaler, Grady-White, Yellowfin, Invincible, Contender
- Sport fishers & convertibles — hull sides, transom, hardtop accents
- Bay boats & flats skiffs — full or accent wraps
- Performance / cigarette boats — full custom graphics
- Trawlers, cruisers & yacht tenders

Why a Boat Wrap Actually Holds Up.
There’s no special “marine” vinyl that makes a wrap survive the water — what makes a boat wrap last is the film grade, the laminate, and the prep. A boat lives in constant UV with no garage, and salt water works at any edge that wasn’t sealed right. So we don’t cut corners where it counts:
- Premium cast vinyl — the same high-grade cast film we run on exotics, not cheap calendered wrap
- Cast laminate over every panel for UV and abrasion protection — never bare film
- Heat-set edge seal on every panel transition so salt and water can’t lift the edges
- Thorough gel-coat prep — pressure wash and IPA wipe, because most boat wraps fail at the prep, not the film
- Installed in a climate-controlled bay so the film bonds the way it’s supposed to
Every Boat Wrap Includes
- Pre-install pressure wash and full IPA surface wipe
- Gel coat condition assessment before we quote
- Hull-side, full-hull, or transom-only coverage options
- Install in a climate-controlled bay — temperature and humidity controlled for a proper bond, not done on the dock
- Heat-set edges and a post-install inspection
- 5-year material warranty on the cast film and laminate
Your boat needs to be on a trailer or lift and fully dry for install — we’ll coordinate the timing with your boatyard or marina.
From a Name on the Transom to a Full Hull.
Most-requested boat wrap projects — mix and match to fit your budget.
Full Hull Color Change
Refresh a faded or chalked hull with a new custom color — the biggest visual change for a fraction of a respray.
Transom Name & Hailing Port
The most-requested partial. Boat name, hailing port, and sponsor logos — clean, durable, and removable.
Hull-Side Accent Stripe
A bold stripe or color sweep along the hull side and waterline accent without committing to a full wrap.
Custom Underwater / Fish Print
Mahi, sailfish, marlin, or a full custom underwater scene — printed and laminated to last.
Bow Stripe & Waterline
Sharpen the lines with a bow stripe and clean waterline accent that follows the hull.
Repower / Outboard Deletes
Cover faded cowlings and dated outboard graphics to match the new look.
Make It Yours.
Solid color, color-shift, team colors, camo, or a full printed graphic wrap — if you can picture it, we can print and install it. We’ll mock up the design before a single panel goes on, so you see the boat before we wrap it.
Want the truck and trailer to match the boat? We can wrap all three for one cohesive look — ask about a matching tow rig wrap.
Premium Cast Films.
Boat, Truck, and Trailer.
Boat owners come to us for the whole look — the boat, the tow rig, and the trailer. We can wrap all of it to match in one coordinated project.
Common Questions
How long does a boat wrap last in salt water?
A premium cast wrap with a cast laminate lasts about 5 to 7 years in South Florida salt water and UV. Lifespan drops fast on cheap calendered film or a wrap without a proper laminate — and on a boat, the prep matters as much as the film.
Will the wrap come off in the water?
No, when it’s prepped and installed right. The key is clean gel-coat prep and a heat-set edge seal on every panel transition so salt and water can’t lift the edges. We’ve wrapped fishing boats and bay boats that live offshore daily — the wraps hold up.
Can you wrap just the transom or accent stripes?
Yes — partial wraps are common on boats. Transom-only (boat name, hailing port, sponsor logos) is the most-requested partial. Accent stripes along the hull side are next. A full-hull color change is the biggest build.
Can I keep my boat in the water during the install?
No. The boat needs to be on a trailer or lift, fully dry, and in a climate-controlled bay for the install. The vinyl needs the surface temperature and humidity controlled to bond properly. We can coordinate with your boatyard or marina to time the haul-out.
How much does a boat wrap cost?
Cost depends on the boat length, the coverage you want (transom-only vs accent stripe vs full hull), and whether the gel coat needs prep. A 27′ center console transom is significantly cheaper than a 42′ sport fisher full hull. Call (954) 531-9965 with the make, length, and what you have in mind.
