Paint Protection
Film. Coconut Creek FL.
Self-healing clear bra on the panels that get hit — front clip, rockers, behind the rear wheels — installed by hand on a flat bench in a climate-controlled bay. Authorized SunTek dealer with a 10-year warranty registered on your behalf.
Stones don't care about your build.
Paint protection film is the only finish that physically absorbs the impacts that ruin a build — rock chips on I-95, sand off the Turnpike, bird droppings that eat clearcoat in a day, UV that fades on the south-facing panels first. Wraps protect against UV but not impacts. Ceramic coatings repel chemicals but don't stop debris. Only PPF takes the hit.
Big Shot Rides has been installing PPF in Coconut Creek and across Broward County for over a decade. Tesla owners protecting a delivery-fresh Model Y, exotic builds going full-vehicle, lifted trucks getting rocker-panel coverage — all installed on the same bench, by hand, with the same warranty registration on your behalf.
SunTek Paint Protection Film.
Big Shot Rides is an authorized SunTek dealer. That means SunTek Ultra film, full SunTek warranty registration on every install, and direct manufacturer backing if anything ever goes wrong. SunTek Ultra is self-healing — small scratches and swirl marks reflow under heat — and rated for 10 years of South Florida sun, salt air, and humidity.
Pick the Coverage That Fits the Build.
SunTek Ultra is offered in six pre-engineered coverage levels. The right one depends on how you drive the car, how often it sees highway, and what you're protecting against.
Front Bumper Only
The entry-level. Just the front bumper — where the vast majority of rock chips land on a daily-driven car.
Bumper + Partial Hood + Mirrors
Bumper, partial hood and fenders, side mirror caps. Covers the high-impact zones without going full-front.
Full Front Clip
Full hood, full fenders, full bumper, mirrors, headlights, A-pillars. The standard for performance and exotic builds.
Front + Rockers + Behind Rear Wheels
Front clip plus rocker panels and the high-spray zone behind the rear wheels — the parts that get sand-blasted on highway drives.
Full Vehicle
Every painted exterior panel. The complete protection package — the same film that protects exotic and concours-level builds.
Built to Spec
Any combination not listed above. Tell us what you want covered and we'll quote it.
Every Panel That Takes a Hit.
The map is the same on every build — the panels facing forward and the panels behind spinning wheels. Hood, fenders, front bumper, front lip, mirrors, A-pillars, rocker panels, behind rear wheels, and the door cup areas for parking-lot dings.
On full-vehicle Premium builds we extend to the roof, doors, trunk lid, rear bumper, and pillars. We talk through which panels matter most for your specific use case — track car versus daily versus garage queen each get a different coverage map.
The Front End Gets Hit First.
On performance and exotic builds, the front clip is the highest-priority coverage zone. Hood, fenders, full bumper, headlights, and side mirror caps absorb the majority of rock chips and bug strikes. Adding partial coverage to the A-pillars and roof leading edge handles the secondary impact zone.
Our standard Front Clip package on a 911, M-car, AMG, or equivalent build is a 3-5 day install with full edge-wrap technique — no razor cuts on the factory paint, no visible seams on the daily-side panels.
Matte Paint? Matte PPF.
Standard PPF is high-gloss — perfect for glossy factory paint, wrong for matte and satin finishes. SunTek Ultra Matte topcoat is the answer. Same self-healing protection, but in a matte finish that preserves the look of factory matte paint or aftermarket matte wraps underneath.
If you have a matte-painted G63, an AMG GT in matte gray, a custom matte wrap, or a satin finish exotic, we install matte PPF instead. Same warranty terms, same coverage options.
What's Included.
- Pre-install paint inspection — every chip, swirl, and clearcoat condition documented and shown to you before any film goes on
- Full panel decontamination — clay bar, IPA wipe, surface prep to film-bond standard
- Optional paint correction before install if the paint isn't ready (most exotic builds need this)
- Edge-wrap install technique — film wrapped around panel edges, no razor cuts on your factory paint
- Pattern-cut from SunTek's vehicle-specific templates — fits the panel, not a generic shape
- Heat-set and squeegee-finished for South Florida UV and humidity
- Compatible with ceramic coating applied on top — most builds get both
- Warranty registration with SunTek on your behalf — 10-year coverage
What we don't do: razor-cut on factory paint, install pre-cut bargain kits with generic shapes, or skip the cure stage to free up a bay.
Side by Side.
The clearest way to understand what PPF actually does is to look at a car with film on one half and not the other. The protected side keeps its shine, resists water spots, releases road grime in a wash. The unprotected side accumulates micro-scratches, swirl marks, and chip damage that compounds month over month.
Most builds we PPF will outlast their factory paint by years. That's the math.
Daily Drivers to Exotics.
We've installed PPF on hundreds of vehicles across Coconut Creek and Broward County. The platforms we see most:
- Tesla — Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, Cybertruck
- Luxury European — BMW M, Mercedes AMG (including G63), Audi RS, Porsche
- Exotic — Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Rolls-Royce
- Trucks & SUVs — F-150, Raptor, Silverado, Bronco, Wrangler, lifted builds (PPF on the rockers)
- Performance — Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, Charger, Hellcat, TRX
- Classic and restomod — vintage Broncos, OBS Chevys, classic Porsches
If your vehicle isn't on this list, call us — we install PPF on virtually any platform with painted exterior panels.
One Drop-Off. Full Protection.
Most PPF clients pair the install with related services so the whole build comes together in one shop visit. The right sequence: paint correction first, then PPF on the high-impact zones, then ceramic coating on top for ease of maintenance and water repellency.
Common Questions
How long does SunTek PPF last in South Florida sun?
SunTek Ultra carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, and delamination. As an authorized dealer, we register the warranty with SunTek on your behalf on every install. The film holds up to Coconut Creek and Broward UV, salt air, and humidity without the failure modes that affected first-generation PPF a decade ago.
Will PPF yellow or peel?
Modern self-healing PPF (SunTek Ultra) is engineered specifically for UV exposure and humidity. It will not yellow within the warranty period when installed properly. Yellowing was a real issue on first-generation films from the 2000s — it is not a current product issue on premium installer-grade film.
What's the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?
PPF is a physical film that absorbs impacts — rock chips, road debris, light scratches. Ceramic coating is a chemical bond at the molecular level that adds gloss, water repellency, and chemical resistance. They solve different problems and most luxury builds get both: PPF on impact zones, ceramic on top of everything.
Can I get PPF over a wrap?
Yes. We install PPF on top of color-change wraps regularly to extend the wrap's life and protect the high-impact zones (front clip, rockers, behind rear wheels). The sequence matters: wrap first, full cure for 24-48 hours, then PPF.
How much does a full front PPF cost in Coconut Creek?
Cost depends on the vehicle (sedan vs SUV vs exotic), the SunTek package level (2-zone through Premium), and which panels you cover. Call (954) 531-9965 with the make, model, and the coverage you want — we'll quote it same day.
