02 / THE DIFFERENCE

Balanced Like It Matters.

Hunter Road Force tire balancing at Big Shot Rides

A tire can be perfectly round on the balancer and still shake at 70 — because regular spin balancing never loads the tire the way the road does. Our Hunter Road Force machine presses a load roller against the spinning tire, finds the stiff spots and mounting mismatches, and fixes the vibration other shops chase with wheel weights forever.

It’s the difference between balanced on paper and smooth on I-95.

04 / FAQ

Straight Answers.

How much do tires cost at Big Shot Rides? +

It depends on size, brand, and how many corners — staggered performance sets and 37-inch all-terrains live in different worlds. One conversation gets you a real number for your exact setup. Financing is available through Affirm.

What is Road Force balancing and do I need it? +

A Hunter Road Force balancer presses a roller against the tire under load — simulating the road — to find stiffness variations and mounting mismatches a normal spin balance can’t see. If you’ve ever had a vibration no shop could fix, this is usually the answer.

What tire size do I need after a lift or lowering? +

The honest answer: it depends on the lift, the wheels, and how you drive — and guessing is how rubbing happens. We map tire size against the whole setup before ordering. Suspension →

Do you handle TPMS sensors? +

Yes — sensors are transferred or replaced and reset as part of the job, so the light on your dash goes off and stays off.

How long does a tire install take? +

Most sets are same-day — we confirm timing when you book so the vehicle isn’t sitting.

Can I buy tires here for wheels I bought somewhere else? +

Yes — bring the wheels, we’ll fit the right rubber and Road Force balance the set. No lectures about where you bought them.

Finish the Setup.

Sized right, mounted clean, Road Force balanced.
